Privacy Policy
KajiCat respects your privacy. This page explains what data the KajiCat iOS app and this website collect, how we use it, and how you control it.
1. Your account
KajiCat creates a private anonymous account on the device's first launch. We never access the IDFA (advertising identifier). Two account modes are offered: • Anonymous (default). Your account is identified by Apple's identifierForVendor (IDFV) — a per-vendor device identifier that resets if you uninstall. No personal information is collected in this mode. • Sign in with Apple (optional). If you choose to sign in with Apple from the Me tab, we additionally receive (a) your Apple user identifier, (b) the email address Apple provides — either your real address or Apple's private-relay address — and (c) the name you choose to share. Signing in lets you keep your songs across devices via a transactional account merge; declining keeps you in anonymous mode permanently. If you enable push notifications, your device's Apple Push Notification service token is stored on our servers solely to deliver notifications to your device. The token is not used for analytics, attribution, or shared with third parties, and is removed when you sign out or delete your account.
2. What you create
When you use KajiCat we store the text you type (story, lyrics), photos you upload to generate cover art, and the songs the app produces from your input. Songs you mark as Published appear in the public Feed for other users to discover; everything else stays private to your account.
3. What we never do
No advertising. No analytics SDKs. No third-party tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for marketing purposes.
4. Data subprocessors
KajiCat uses third-party AI providers to generate lyrics, music, and cover art, and a cloud platform to store audio files and host this website. Your inputs (text and photos) are sent to these providers only as needed to deliver your song. They do not retain your inputs beyond what is required to process the request. 5. Your rights
Delete your account at any time: open the Me tab in the app, tap Settings, then Delete account. This soft-deletes your account, anonymises your record, and removes your songs from the public Feed. For any other request — data export, correction, complaint — email us at the address below.
6. Children
KajiCat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
7. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change. Material changes will be flagged in the app on next launch.
